This company uses the web to entice computer knowledgable people to work for them with the promise they will be paid so much for each billable hour. In my case it was $25.00 per billable hour.

This company does not honor it's contracts with it's geek. The individuals running this company will fail to pay you, avoid answering your calls and email to be paid, and if you do catch up with one of the so called managers you are made promises which are not kept.

There are plenty of complaints from this company's former geeks which can be found on http://www.888geekhelp.netfirms.com/
and http://geekhelp.zee-way.com/. Do not go to work for this company as there is no guaranteed you will ever be paid for hours you bill.

888 Geek Help is a Fraud and a scam

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sat, June 05, 2004

I too had worked for 888 Geek Help. They owe me thousands of dollars that has not been paid since May 2003.

The Ex- Employees have put up a website that has all the information on 888 Geek Help, Customer Complaints, Ex-Employee Complaints, Replys from Letters sent to the approriate authorities, BBB Reports on 888 Geek Help and so on.

We list on this site the current news about what we are doing to collect our money that is owed the ex employees (888 Geek Help owes us thousands of dollars in wages that they never paid any of us) This seems to be a pattern for 888 Geek Help. They hire people, who work lots of hours taking thousands of dollars worth of tech support calls, then 888 Geek Help does not pay the employees, locks them out of the phone systems and web site, pretends not to know who they are or what they are talking about. They have done this to two sets of employees . One in Summer of 2003 and the others in the winter of 2004. Now they have hired a whole new set of employees that have no idea what has happened in the past to the last groups of employees. Most likely they will learn the hard way, when 888 Geek Help has another "problem" and can not pay them also.
