They put an ad up on craigslist "TV INSTALLERS". They put the ad up several times before they contacted me. It contained a list of different tv mounting prices and add ons. I gave them my information each time they posted. I've answered ads and done work for a similar company that is actually legit. Done.com. Anyways they contacted me and said they had 3 jobs the next day and have sssoooo many jobs blah blah blah. They sent a contract agreement which i read and agreed to. All of the sudden the 3 jobs they had turned into one but i didnt have anything scheduled that next day so i agreed to do it. I went to the address and did a fairly difficult tv mount to uneven stone on an exterior fireplace and a sound bar.

It said on the contract that each job required a customer signed invoice. When i asked thr guy from 99install about he said "ill take care of it Ill call them and have them pay with the card on file. $331.00. " I should not have listened to him and that was confirmed by them. It said payment would be sent 7 to 10 days of the job completion. No one ever told me that any info was missing from this order until the deadline up for payment. I read about another complaint on here and decided not to give them my social also because everyone from 99install refused to give me the physical address as well as hearing different company names. You only have to fill out a w9 when you do more than $600 dollars of work for someone PER THE IRS. I gpt a text from someone from there saying i needed to fill out thr w9 and contract and a signed work order.

I answered back with a refusal because no one would tell me the physical address and pasted a link to the yelp review I put about their company. The reply from him was "shut the **** up. No one cares about your review. Your contract is terminated. We cant pay you without a a w9 you *******idiot" blah blah blah. Very professional right? Then another text about we will just have the review taken down. Give it a month and check it out". Thanks, now that my contract is terminated i can tell the customer about their payment system and why they shouldn't pay. Im calling the customer tomorrow to let them know to dispute the charge on their card. They didnt sign so they can get a refund very easily. Im not getting paid they shouldnt have to pay. So now they will lose the 331 dollars when all they had to do was pay me the 160 dollars the rightfully owed me. Not to mention all the jobs they will lose as a result of negative feedback online about them. They are scammers. Stay away
