elderly neighbor was charged $1850.00 to replace an electric water heater in her garage. water pipes had adapters to screw onto the water heater. start to finish, the tec was there 20 minutes. i called the following day to request the same service at my house (next door).... they quoted me... up to $800.00. Th e family is getting the local TV station to do a story about the rip off to this elderly, widdowed woman. NEVER CALL A-1 AMERICAN. For information only, a water heater can be purchased for about $300.00... install time approx one hour. BEWARE of this company..... calls made to them where given 'the run-around'..... BEWARE
