Complaint Review: A-1 Annuities

A-1 Annuites in LaQuinta, CA (owned by SEYMOUR YUDEL) advertises on Google and other pay per click sites advertising annuity appointments. The copy on their website is very convincing. If you call them for a reference, they will give references, who evidently are also liars.

My complaint are the same as every other complaint about them. They advertise on their website "each lead has been qualified and verifed through our vigorous screening process then disbursed only after a second confirmation call for scheduled time of appointment as well as asset verification by an A1 representative". This sounds good, but is total nonsense. I paid A-1 Annuites $1,500 for 30 annuity presentations, and tried to work with them for 2 months. Not a single appointment they sent me on was expecting me. I ask for a refund and they refused.

They also use the BBB logo on the website which is also bogus, I filed a complaint with BBB, they are not a member and have an "F" rating with BBB. I even contact their bank, Bank Of America to try to get some help and the local bank manager there refused to help me. Said A-1 has a lot of deposits for $1,500 but haven't had any bad checks so basically they, BOA, don't care.
