A-1 Auto and Truck Wrecking Evan Sold me a bad transmission and refused to honor their warranty! Rialto, California
I would advise anyone thinking about purchasing used auto parts from A-1 Auto and Truck Wrecking, to reconsider based on how they handled my transaction. Evan (the owner) in my opinion is the perfect example of why our industry has the bad reputation that follows us . I am a parts broker in Jacksonville, FL. I bought a used transmission from Evan at A-1 for a customers 2004 Mercedes CLK320. It came with a 30 day warranty. The transmission was installed by a dealer. The transmission computer was flashed. The transmission failed to perform. I called Evan on day 20 to inform him we were returning the transmission for a refund. He refuse to take any further calls. He has now refussed to accept shipment 2 times. So begins the long credit card dispute process. Save yourself the aggravation. DO NOT BUY FROM A-1 OR EVAN.

Now, I have had 5 different brokers that have seen my post in ripoffreport.com. I am not alone in my pursuit to clean up our industry. Please folks, listen, I have been selling new and used auto parts for over 30 years. 98% of our contacts are regular folks like you and I. They thrive on offering you the absolute best used part for your hard earned dollar. They stand behind their warranty. I have seen it all. The Best The Worst. Do not use A1. They scrape the bottom of the barrel.
