A to Z Computer Fix claims to "do it right. The first time." The only thing they right is take away your money.

My computer was infected with a smss.exe trojan virus and I hired Ishaq Shan to fix the computer. He charged me $75.00. For a repairman, this should be a simple problem but for over an hour he sat on the computer and did not seem to have any clue on how to fix the virus which infected my computer. Ishaq Shan proceeded to say that this computer needed off-site repair and it would cost an average of $400-550 to fix it. But at that price, I might as well buy a brand new computer. He did not seem to have acquiantance with Computer repair or software. When I asked about anti-virus programs such as McAfee, Eset, Avast!, Norton as to which one is best for my computer, he had a complete blank stare on his face.

Shan claims to have been certified with the Better Business Bureau but this is, in fact, a lie. The BBB of Sacramento has noted A to Z Computer Fix or A Computer Fix is not accredited with The Better Business Bureau and has received a grade of an "F" due to the numerous complaints filed against the company.

Ishaq Shan (who answers his phone calls by the name of "Shawn") has a notorious and very bad business reputation in Sacramento. If you have problems with your computer please go to a more reputable computer repair and service shop than Ishaq Shan. His price quotes sound cheaper on the phone than other businesses but he has no knowledge about computer repair, software or viruses.

After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in May 2011, Shan did agree to a partial refund of the $75.00 charge. Since I can not remove the aforementioned review, I am giving an update of my business with him. He did pay me a check of $37.50 which I received on August 4th, 2011. He has also called me and said if there are any unhappy or unsatisfied customers on the world wide web or who is reading this report, he is willing to cooperate with you to satisfy your computer repair needs.
