This company attempted to install a basement escape window for my wife. After the snow melt from the first snow storm our basement was flooded. Steve an owner came back and claimed fault and would fix the problem. The next day his wife, Trisha, called and stated they would not fix the issue.

After 1 1/2 years in court and hefty fees, we were able to prove they did not use any sealant between the foundation and the frame of the wood. They did not purchase city permits (which is a crime). They did not use any foam sealant around the window to keep the air from coming in. They did not seal any other window that were installed. We had to rehang a door they installed.

Total cost to clean up after there lack of inspection, about $5000.

Do yourself a favor and just look past thier name in the phone book. Your mind and heart will thank you later. I will request this removed once they pay off the debt owed to us.

The company closed shop and after a couple years we recieved final payment on the settlement.  I placed a lien on the party so they could not purchase a house until the lien was lifted.  I still hate contractors.  Make them sign a contract and withhold fianl payment until the city signs off...GET A PERMIT.

Oh please Mark!!! First of all it was not the first time that the window had been thru any kind of moisture. We installed that window and that spring we had more rainfall then we had in many years prior to that and it did not leak. You did not call our company until October and it rained no snow involved and when my husband went there it was funny that there was a hose right by the window well and your girlfriend admitted to running the hose in the window well and filling it up until the water was half way up the window and lets face it... window wells just do not fill up with water like that when there is a gable roof over them. Your basement and entire house was a pig sty and you wanted a way to get the basement cleaned and remodeled for free and we all know it.

There was no proof of you reinstalling the door if you remember correctly and there was nothing wrong with it.
