A All Animal Control Franchise Review - CEO Josie Moss Unprofessional and Insane Nationwide
The following post is a review of the A All Animal Control Franchise. I spent ten years in the A All Animal Control franchise in the state of Missouri and during those 10 years dealt with two different CEO’s. I will tell you the original CEO Mark Dotson while sometimes difficult to work with was always professional, knowledgeable and I was always able to work out any concerns I had. However, Dotson passed on the A All Animal Control franchise to a women named Josie Moss who runs the system much different.
As soon as Josie Moss came into the franchise as the new CEO she initiated confrontation from the get go. Calling and emailing nasty messages and phone calls of how to run my business and if I did not like it that I would have to go elsewhere. Despite the fact I was in A All Animal Control long before Josie Moss was. I ran my business, made customers happy, paid my royalties, followed my contract and never complained. This did not matter to her.
She repeatedly threatened to take my franchise location if I did not follow exactly what she said. Most of it being ridiculous manners that no person should be forced to do. On one occasion Josie Moss called me to ask if I would be attending the annual franchisee conference in another state. I told her I could not pull it off financially and schedule wise. She was very nasty to me on the phone and told me that she would pay for me to come and I would have to pay her back. The next day I received a letter from Josie Moss of A All Animal Control corporate office stating that if I did not attend the conference I would have my location “cured” meaning taken completely. This was MY business, that Josie Moss was threatening to rip away from me and my family.
I would like to make this A All Animal Control franchise review about the business aspects of being in the franchise, but unfortunately Josie Moss CEO does not treat franchise locations like businesses, but like her abused children. She will talk down to you, she will threaten you, she will personally attack you. I have never dealt with a more difficult women. Initially she comes off as extremely kind and professional, but as time goes on and she does not get her controlling way she will act completely different. It is the MOST unprofessional business women I have ever met period.
Josie Moss, CEO of A All Animal Control franchise is the reason I am no longer part of the A All Animal Control franchise system. I had the chance to resign with A All Animal Control after my 10 year contract was over, but I did not. I was relieved to say the least.
When Josie Moss found out I would not be resigning I received 17 phones calls, 3 voicemails, 1 email and 2 text messages over the course of 2 days from Moss. I ignored them all as most of them were rude, unprofessional and downright mean. Josie Moss threatened me with non compete statutes and lawsuits if I competed against the A All Animal Control name.
I have been running my own wildlife removal service under my own business name for a little over a year now and I am 75% up in revenue this year under my own name and marketing. If you are even thinking about purchasing an A All Animal Control franchise, just know you have been warned.
