I have had problems with a less than one year old Kitchenaid Fridge.  I called Kitchenaid, a division of Whirpool, and they use AandE for their warranty service.  I got my first appointment for 2 days later.  So far so good.  First tech comes, fails to fix the problem and breaks a trim piece. I had to spend 4 hours on the phone to get them to come back out to address the unfixed problem prior to the trim piece arriving -- meantime I have a lot of expensive food going bad.  They came out, a better tech this time, and parts were ordered.  Parts are not generally kept by them, so you have to wait, and they are sent to your house -- saves them on inventory, but of course I had to throw away all the food.  Then I get a call that the follow on appointment is tentative, and I have to call them back when I receive the parts to schedule.

Meantime, I call my local appliance dealer.  He clues me in that this is the old Sear appliance people, re-branded since the reputation was so bad, and that they are still awful.  He said he tries to get other companies for service, and if I have warranty trouble again to call him not deal with AandE.

Lastly, and most importantly, they apparently have their call center in Mexico.  Understanding the people on the other side of the phone is very difficult, and the men can be rude and arrogant if you say you do not understand them.

Never ever ever use them, their techs are so-so, and the back office is a nightmare.  I also caught a gander of what the cost of these repairs would have been out of warranty -- 25% of the cost of a new $3000 fridge, so they are overpriced to boot.
