A and M Auto and Marine LLC Mike Raynor owner Dishonest and incompetent mechanic Georgetown SC
Prior to hiring Mike Raynor of A and M Auto and Marine do yourself a favor and ask some fellow boaters or workers at the Georgetown landing marina if they would ever hire Mike to work on their boats I bet you will be hard pressed to find one. Mike is dishonest and incompetent and I caught him stealing hours and charging me for services and parts that were not provided.
He stated he was working on my boat when in fact my cameras and his worker said otherwise. When I informed him I had cameras he changed the story to say that he was picking up parts at 3am from the post office. He installed the wrong gaskets on all four of the turbos which resulted in 5+ gallons of oil in my bilge. He moved the boat from the marina without checking the engines for leaks after a major service and the engine leaked a few gallons of oil and coolant.
Additionally, he claimed that his subcontractors performed certain work that they denied performing and he refused to provide adequate documentation or support. After spending a significant amount of money the engines were still not properly functioning. If you get stuck in Georgetown SC or on Long Island NY where Mike operates his business do yourself a favor and find another mechanic.

Do not do business with a company that has to remove all their negative reviews from the internet to help protect what little reputation they have. I would suggest doing business with companies that own up to their errors and lies and does anything to make their customers satisfied.
If you are in business you know it is impossible to make every customer happy so the fact that this incompetent mechanic has nothing but 4 star reviews should be cause for a red flag.
