I used an online parts locator web site to locate a transmission for my Volvo. I got an email back in 2 days from Mike Reimann at "A and R Auto Parts" that they had it for $250 with 6 month warranty. When I called back at the Desk number, Jeff answered "EAP"....if I only knew. Mike charged my card, and that's the last I have seen of my money. Mike will tell you that "Freight Lines" is being used to ship, but such a generic named trucking company doesn't exist. Calling to get a refund for what never shipped Jeff told me that Mike was out in the yard, and he would take a message and give it to him. An email the next day was responded to by "Ed" and he stated that Mike was out the whole week! Ed assured me that he checked "with accounting" and my credit was just run through. Well, suprise, it never came thru. I am now contacting every parts locator service I can google with the news of these crooks. Several have reported back that they will not do business with Mike/Jeff/EAP or whatever they will call themselves next. I will be contacting the Denver Media, the CO state attorney general, and the Denver area BBB who now has over 100 complaints against them. You may never get your money back, but please take the time to complain to all the above named sources, especially the parts locators. We can get them banned, then shut down.

I have found Mike Reimann's weak spot: I threatened his source of leads. Here's how you can force him to refund your money...its long, and involved, but it works.

First, you must file a dispute with your Credit Card, a complaint with the Denver area Better Business Burea, then the Colorado Attorney Generals' Office of Consumer Fraud. Keep all these going and active.

Then, I went for bad press: I contacted the local Denver area ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX affiliate news stations and got to their investigative reporters. Keep a concise log of all information and activity to pass along by email to them.

Also I got the Denver Post in on the action by contacting some of their staff columnists.

Finally, you probably got hooked up with Mike Reimann, and EAP, A and R, whatever its now called, via an INTERNET PARTS LOCATOR SITE.

This is what will put you over the top. Google "auto parts locator" and keep a list of the top 25 or so sites that come up. Methodically go down that list, and contact each. Determine what state they are operated from. Several will email you back that they have already banned Mike, but put the heat on anyway. I email them a document with links to the BBB and RipOffReport, and a full text synopsis of just how bad this guy is. Then, I COPY THEIR STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL and inform them that since they now are aware of the criminal activity, they could be legally implicated in assisting a known scam. Obviously they see that the communciation also went to their state's atty general, and it makes them nervous.

Several will email you back stating that they have already dropped Mike's subscription to their site, or the media will email you back, and I forwarded all these emails to Mike's attention.

He wisely saw the storm brewing, and refunded my money.

If enough people do this, and each auto parts locator's respective atty general gets enough complaints....well, they would all be forced to drop Mike. All of his victims are well outside of Colorado...for good reason. But this WILL work, and eventually he'll change his name, number, and give up. If he disappears on you, just create another email, use a parts locator, and he'll respond again!

GOOD LUCK! THE BEST MAN WON AND SO CAN YOU!
