I droped my car off to have some work done at this shop for the first time. When I arrived to pick the car up I noticed egg and eggshells all over the car and next to the car around the parking lot. I opened the door, it was unlocked and my keys were left inside.

I immediately noticed that my stereo was stolen. I listened to the radio on the way to drop the car off, therefotre I am SURE it was in the car before I dropped it off. I approached the owner, Robert (Larry) Meeks, who told my girlfriend and I to get off his property, he was not responmsible

I paid him for the $700.00 dollar auto repair. A.B.S. Auto Care has no sign or notice on the repair ticket saying anything to the extent that valubles left in cars are the responsibility of the owner of the car.

Not only was it obvious that someone had vandalized his car lot during the night we left our car there, this man refused any sympathy and overcharged for the MINOR repairs that he did do. This is a large shop on the side of Rte. 220 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Robert and Marian Meeks are the owners.

Not only does this company overcharge, they accept no responsibility for anything that happens on their property whatsoever. The service was poor as well as overpriced and the management is nasty and disrespectfull.
