Complaint Review: A Bit Of Paris - Vintage Home Interiors - Jennifer Thompson

In November of 2008, I ordered numerous shabby chic furniture items for my new boutique, online. I had good communication with the seller, Jennifer Thompson, at that time.

She wanted a deposit to be made through PAYPAL before starting my order.I took care of it immediately.

About the third week of December, she set up a date and time to deliver my goods. She wanted cash for the remainder owed. She would not accept a money order or cashier's check.

Once she arrived and unloaded the furniture and accessories for my shop, she wanted to be paid. It was rather hectic inside during this time. Items were still wrapped and my helper was moving items throughout the shop.

After I paid her, she said that she could not fit the two coffee tables on the truck nor the pinecone light arrangement, BUT that she would ship them to me FEDEX immediately.

It is now near the end of February and no items. I have repeatedly emailed her with her constant delays and unexcusable reasons for not shipping the remainder of my order. I then informed her to just refund my payment.

She is not communciation any longer. She will NOT get away with this fraud.I went to the BBB at the TN location, Knoxville, to file a complaint. There were at least 11 complaints for the same reasons as stated above.

I believe her store (she rented) has now burned down. Still, she owes me money. Hopefully her insurance will reimburse her.

Just do NOT do business with this pretending to be a Christian woman. She uses numerous biblical scriptures to allude you to think she is an honest person.

Do not buy from her! She needs to be prosecuted to the fullest!
