I see they are still at it. I can't believe MI hasn't closed them down yet.
I doubt you will get phone calls as people don't trust A Forever Recovery cons.  I think many people however, would be willing to call a law firm who would take up a class action suit.  ( I also think the Michigan Health Services needs to get involved)

Some ex clients have written the MI Atty Gen ( myself inclued). Another letter or email to them couldn't hurt.

I have also noticed them trying to do damage control with the internet scam tag against them, by writing blogs addressing this issue.   They are treading water now I think and I hope to see them go under soon.

WE NEED A LAWYER to take up this case.  I do hope someone someday will use this site for information and contact people for a class action suit.

Is connected with Scientology - the so called "religion" of the rich and famous.  There bottom line (and I am just casting a line) if money. Yes most rehabs require an upfront fee if you have insurance but I have never heard (and maybe I am wrong) of asking for that much money.  Usually detox occurs in a hospital setting so the individual can be monitored by Medical Personnel.  This place and the people who work there are nothing but con artists.  If you have a story I suggest finding other portals to push this message through.

Good luck and keep fighting these against scumbags like this place.

they are very careful not to use the word "detox", to get around legal differences to what they offer.  its a scam, no doctors or nurses work there.  they maybe seen by an outside md once in 7 days.  detox means a hospital like setting with treatment based on needs, not a standard 7 day stay.  please research stonehawk too, they are one in the same.
