I purchased a Samsung french door fridge from Lowes on July 18th. Upon setup, the ice door was just opening and closing quite literally every second. Obviously, there was a problem. Samsung set us up with this service company called A Home Tech Services. That's where the trouble started. I called only to find they are only open 9-2. 2pm. For a business. So, right off the bat, it's almost impossible for the average working person to catch them. After finally reaching them and setting up a date for service, they don't show. We are told their tech has a broken hip. Ok, you only have one tech? The person on the phone says "Oh, I know exactly what it is, I don't need to come down. I'll order the parts." So this guy orders parts sight unseen. WEEKS later, the appt is set up. We make plans to be here between the appointed hours. The guy shows up at 9am. When asked why he is hours early he says "Oh, my appts this morning have all been nightmares." Apparently he didn't repair anything that day and that's why he was so early. So he takes everything apart and proceeds to stand in my kitchen completely befuddled. When I ask what the problem is, he says they are the wrong parts. So, he says he'll order the right ones and leaves. No apology, nothing. It is currently August 28th. There has been ZERO communication from this place. Nothing. I call this morning fuming. The lady who answers the phone claims the parts are on order and I need to call Samsung. (Why do *I* need to call Samsung??? I call Samsung who immediately tries to get them on the phone for more info on why they dont have parts. She cannot reach the because this company has Samsung's number blocked!!!! I call them back myself, almost into a fit. She says that there is another number that Samsung could call. I get part# and invoice #s. She refuses to give me the # to call their place directly, apparently it's a secret. So, she claims she is calling Samsung herself. Whatever, it's a little late for that, don't you think? Samsung is investigating and calling me back today. I filed a formal complaint with Samsung. This whole scenario would prevent me from purchasing Samsung again. I like the product, but I need a real service company. Avoid this place at all costs, they are completely unprofessional in every aspect of their "service". It would be really fantastic if they at least apologized for their incompetence. July 18 till August 28th and the fridge still isn't working!!
