Just Google A&J Transmission Lansing Miich, and go to Google maps/street view. It is a crappy tiny little house on a crack street. They will tell you they are the "biggest shop in Lansing". Simply Google the address. These people are obviously out to scam someone for drug money. Stay away from A&J Transmission. The lies start before you even bring your car in.

Kurt from Key West must be the one on crack. A&J are a large. well-respected operation that go the extra mile to serve their clientele. They do not operate out of "a crappy tiny little house on a crack street" and never have. They repaired my heavy-duty truck transmission in less than the quoted time frame, and even though the repair parts exceeded the quoted amount, they only charged me the quoted amount.  I don't know what Kurt's problem is, but libel and defamation of character don't have a place here.

This report is total bullcrap.  I have taken several cars to A & J for repairs and have always been total satisfies.  This company is not in some "crappy House"  It is a 8 bay auto repair facility and the parking lot is alway full.

I will give you one example of what kind of people they are.  My wife had an alternator replaced at another repair shop.  When she got it back it was making a strange noise and she took it back.  The owner told her it was probably the timing chain aor something else and that he did not work on this particular engine.  We took the car to Alan at A&J.  His mechanic diagnosed it as a faulty alternator. They returned the alternator to the place where it was purchased, got a replacement, installed it and did not charge us a dime because they felt that we were treated badly by the other repair shop.

I will always take my cars to A&J.

On another point.  This website has absolutely no honor.  The fact that they proudly and steadfastly refuse to take down this or any other false report says all you need to know abot the website!  A website that allows lies to stay posted really has no value at all!  If you are going to call yourself "RipOff Report", you should only report ripoffs, not lies.  I think this makes this website a "RipOff"

I have done business with them for years and find them to be very reputable, honest and fair.  They do excellent work and stand behind their warranty.  Do you even verify what people write in their reports.  The one you have accepted is a bit slanderous and inaccurate.  They are in Lansing on a corner that has a small house next to it but are not affiliated with any houses on this block.  I was disturbed that you would accept such a report without verifying it's accuracy.  They are a family run business with other employees.  I will always trust them with my vehicles when I need their serivices.  Thank you.  But shame on ripoff reports for allowing such inaccurate slander!

A&J Transmissions is a great business!

The nasty 'complaint' that was posted about A&J Transmission in Lansing is not only false and libelous, it is ridiculous.  What sort of 'complaint' just calls someone names and then ends by saying something stupid like "they even lie about their address?"  That makes no sense.  What business that relies on people to drive their cars in to be repaired would 'lie about their address?'   Sad that some person from Florida can just post lies like that and then hide behind the Internet and the fact that they live 2000 miles away.

A&J is a large, professional, state-of-the art shop, not some 'crappy house.'

I have been taking my vehicles to A&J Transmission for about 6 or 7 years.  They are not only professional and knowledgeable, they are the best.  I found them when everyone in the area I called about my make of vehicle told me A&J was the 'go to' place.  That has proven to be true.  The folks at A&J do a great job, they do it fast, and they *always* go the extra mile.  Plus, they are very reasonably priced.  They have stayed late to work on my car so I could leave on time for a vacation, have helped me set up a rental when I needed it, and have done a lot of extra things for no charge just to keep me happy.

I was a truck mechanic for years and I know honest, professional, hard working mechanics when I see them.  A&J Transmissions is just that; honest, hardworking, fair and professional.

I usually don't go out of my way to promote other people's businesses but A&J is the kind of old fashioned, family owned small business that Lansing should be proud of.

You do not have to believe me or this recommendation, but also PLEASE don't pay any attention to some nasty, dishonest ALL CAPS person who disparages this great business by writing stupid lies about them.  Try A&J.  You will love their service.

I had the transmission rebuilt in my 2000 Buick Century 4 years ago and they did an awesome job! I have recommended them to multiple people. The owner spent nearly an hour with me explaining the process of rebuilding the horrible GM transmission and making it better than it was when the car was built. Their shop is only a half mile from Michigan State University, so it's not "crack town". I would never trust my transmission to any local shop, BUT THEM! It's a family operation that has pride in their work!

I am requesting removal for report numbers 407440 and 407450, and anymore untrue reports that I haven't found yet associated with the A & J Transmission name. These untrue comments were made by a man that owes me over $100,000.00 in child support and is trying to destroy me and my husband, his name is Kurt Kosloski, he is living in key west ,fl and left michigan in 1992 to avoid child support. Nobody has any drug affiliation at my company and we have an excellent word of mouth reputation which we have worked very hard to get and keep by taking outstanding care of our customers. I don't understand how somebody can post untrue and unverified information about a company and then whatever they have to go through to get it removed.
thank you ,

I would never go to A&J Trans again in this life time. Whether you need trans service or parts...they are cocaine and heroine addicts. Need I say more? I would go anywhere else at all cost. Don't say I didn't warn you.
