Welcome to the world of subprime auto financing! I have had the most horrible experience with this company. They failed to update contact information for me time and time again after I moved. I called them, sent letters with my payments to no avail. They claim that I broke my "contract" with them because I moved out of state and took the vehicle with me. I requested a copy of the contract they claim that I broke and they refused to mail of fax a copy and told me that the only way to obtain a copy was to come into their office in Phoenix, AZ. I moved 1800 miles away and this was not an option. Once I contacted 4 local and federal bureaus to complain, A-L changed their response and stated that they told me I had to sign a release to obtain a copy of the contract. I still have not recieved a release from A-L to sign. I took it upon myself to type up a release and sign it. Today, they fax a confidential response to one of my many complaints to my husbands employers fax machine. How they got that number is not known to me, I have never shared that number with them nor have I ever recieved or faxed them a document from that fax number. This isn't the first time that A-L has acted irresponsible with my personal information either. I filed seperate complaints on my claim of them releasing personal information and not protecting my privacy with A-L Financials Corporate office in California and with the Federal Trade Commission and I will also be consulting an attorney.

Think twice before a dealer offers you financing with A-L financial!
