Dear Sir:

The locks on my doors were changed on Monday, November 3, 2014 by Charlie who installed a deadbolt lock, I gave him my lock for the front door.  As you can see in the pictures the lock turnkey is incorrect not straight up or down or across - the lock closes to the right and opens to the left it is backwards all my other locks close left and open right.  The installed lock is not the correct lock for the door when I told Charlie about the turnkey on the back Charlie said it locks and unlocks I do not want the lock turnkey to look like this, not worth the $65 charged.  I told him the turnkey was not straight either way the installation is sloppy. Also I inadvertently gave Charlie 2 $100 bills and 5 $20 bills totaling $300 instead of $200 for the job (one door handle cylinder on the beige door was not changed) - Charlie should have returned the $100 bill and given me back $5 change, Charlie did not give the $5 change I had to go outside by the van and ask Charlie for the change - Charlie said he only had $3 singles I said let me see if I have change.  I went inside to get my $5 singles gave Charlie the money and Charlie returned to me a $20 bill, obviously when Charlie recounted the money in the van Charlie knew he had the extra $100 bill which was not returned to me that is why I got back a $20 bill otherwise he short-changed you for the cost of the job - this is proof of guilt.  Charlie left in the van like his tail was on fire thinking he would get away with my $100 bill.  I will return the $20 to you, Tom, and want back $5 which would have been my change from the $200 and the $100 bill Charlie failed to return and took from me this is dishonorable to say the least.  I called you on Monday, 11.3.14, Tuesday, 11.4.14 and Wednesday, 11.5.14 in an attempt to rectify both problems about the lock/turnkey being corrected/changed and the $100 bill and got nowhere.  Your employee Charlie hung up the phone on me, I only spoke to Charlie once on Monday to ask him to return my $100 bill and you were reluctant to speak with me at first when I asked you to come to my home and look at this lock/turnkey you were reluctant and just said that the lock opens and closes - to me this is unacceptable the lock/turnkey has to be corrected/changed or return the $65 I was charged.  I have looked in my home everywhere and there is no $100 bill your employee Charlie has the $100 bill. I do want to resolve both problems with you the owner amicably.  A reputable business would satisfy their customers.  Thank you for your time and please reply promptly these problems have to be resolved.
