Complaint Review: A + Masonry

Ed 570 468-3988 is not a licensed or legitimate mason or contractor. He is a fast talking shady manipulating liar. He will show up and call relentlessly until you sign a contract for such an incredibly low price that you can't pass it up. There's 3 different last names that I've heard he goes by. Don't even know what it really is. His ad is in the Times Leader Newspaper. He claims to have contracts with FEMA.

He doesn't do any of the physical work. He talks over you, doesn't listen but knows it all and backs out of written deals. He calls for more and more money for every different reason he can think of. Once he gets it he's gone. Doesn't finish anything! Does a half-assed job. Makes his workers do tons of the hard work to look busy and make him money.

They used some of OUR tools to do the work, without even asking, took off with some of our little things, and then become impossible to contact. His phone is off, message box full and you never see him again. I wish I did more research before i got taken. He cleaned us out of what little savings we had with wonderful stories of what an awesome job he'd do for my family and how he'd be giving us such discounted rates for everything because of the off season.
