New Concept Modeling & Acting Center charged my husband for a crappy headshot for my daughter that cost $60.00. I did not even get the pictures that I paid for.

When we came back to view the photos August 15, 2006, I told the a lady named Mary Wells that I will be back the next day to review the contract.

Upon checking the BBB website, I found out that they have an unsatisfactory record. I cancelled the appointment & told the company that I am no longer interested putting my daughter in that modeling center.

Mary Wells informed me that she already charged my credit card last night. I was very angry because I did not authorize the charges. Later on they claimed that it was a phone order and that was a lie!

When I talked to Mary Wells, she told me that I need to write a cancellation letter and sent it certified. I did what they asked me. I mailed the letter right away. But they left my Centified mail unclaimed and the post office attempted 2 more times to redeliver the mail but was unclaimed. The certifies letter was sent back to me.

Now they told me that they can't refund me the $648.00 because it is already October. I've been calling them via telephone and they never respond to all the messages I left them. Their reply was that they have no phone records that I called.

They've been giving us the run-arounds everytime my husband & I called the company.
The company can't provide me a copy of contract. I want my money back credited to my credit card. I already file a dispute with the credit card company. I am still waiting for the outcome.

I am happy that you are very happy with them but, to each its own. You maybe one of the lucky ones whom they did not scam. More power to you. I got my back now and don't care.

I put my daughter through this company program and I am very pleased with the results. She has had numerous jobs through the casting company that they are affiliated with. It makes me very angry to hear about the other peoples experiences because they don't give companies like this a chance. Thanks for listening
