Complaint Review: A New Me

This company has opened locations in a few cities in FL as well as Las Vegas and California.  This company is all about profiteering at your expense.  The newspaper ads say it is a franchised business but I could not find any franchise information filed with the State of Florida which would be required and without it - big trouble I would imagine.  It is just a quick weight loss gimick and has no long lasting effects - see a few reviews such as the second comment at (((link redacted)))

The ads say that there have been over 20,000 happy customers since 2007 and that they have a 97% percent success rate.  What a rip off and bad joke - really in this recession we are to believe that this many people gladly paid from $500 on up for their one to two month program?  They are not hard sellers but do not tell you what this is all about until you have already paid the non-refundable fee (not paid weekly but due before you know what you are getting into).  You will get a small quantity of sprays which are not regulated or approved by the USA Food and Drug Administration - its just some "magic potion" that is unregulated and is a supplement having no medical or health claims being allowed to be made.  Some people are getting a once a day injection of HCG.  There is no evidence shown that the products are effective (or in the case of the spray -even significant enough of dose to make any difference).

This is just hype that there is a miracle spray or shot to get you in the mode of burning fat (2500 calories a day) without any exercise being in the "protocol".  They don't tell you that you are only to consume about 500 to 800 calories per day - so you must give up eating what you are used to consuming - while joining your family at dinner just looking around everyone else have a nice time.  The weight loss is dependent mostly on your own mental health attitude about losing weight while you are choking yourself of any carbs. 

Save your money and go to a spa and buy a few books about healthy eating habits that you can use for the rest of your life.  Don't buy into some magic potion with a new carb diet.  If you are going to follow this type of shock diet loss- spare the money being paid to these guys and just buy some chicken and steak or egg whites. 

They make so much money selling all these other nutricional supplements not described anywhere and praying that you will lose just enough weight to buy more sprays or injections for the next three months (oh yeah, you get a $100 discount on further purchases or more funny - you get a referral bonus - discount on purchases - for the friends you refer over.
