Complaint Review: A&R Property Management Margaret Dade Owner

Margaret Dade, owner of A & R Proeprty Management managed my rental property in Contra Costa County for many months before I discovered she was stealing my money.  I had a checking account set up for her to deposit monthly rent checks that auto drafted to pay the mortgage monthly.  It wasn't until I received overdraft notices from the bank that I realized she was not depositing the rent checks into my account.  When I spoke to her about it, she claimed the bank had changed the account # by adding a zero at the end of the account and she was unable to make the deposit.  I later received notice from the HOA that they would pursue legal matters against me if the past due fees now totaling over $1100.00 were not paid immediately.  They too had tried to reach Margaret to no avail.  I also received a bill from a repairman that had worked on my property and received a check from A & R that bounced. And then there's my tenant that paid over $2000.00 in deposits to Margaret that may never again see her money again.  Fortunately, I pay the property taxes myself or I'd surely be in arrears with the Contra Costa Co Tax Assessors Office as well.  This lady is a professional scam artist.  She will not receive any phone calls or certified mail ever.  I have also contacted the local law enforcement agencies who informed me there is nothing they can do...Gotta love our judicial system!  For any of you that may have received a business card from her, pay close attention to her e-mail address on the bottom: "margaretdade@", nothing more appears on the card.  No "aol.com" or "gmail.com"
