We hired a Solid Gold Sound for DJ & videographer services for our wedding, which was on September 30, 2006. To date we have not received our product the DVD and photography of our wedding and reception and the accompanying extras that were promised us. We paid in advance and had a contract. Both my husband and I have called several times at least 10 - to inquire about our video. Each time, the man that answers the phone, passes our call to an answering machine.

We leave messages and they never, ever, return the phone calls, Finally, we left a message saying that if we hadn't heard from them by the end of the day, that we plan to reverse the charges on the credit card and also take them to small claims court. They refuse to respond to ANY of our calls. Not one! We have been polite but they keep avoiding us.

This is now almost 90 days after our wedding and NO ONE is willing to respond to us. This was a very special day for us and one we wanted to preserve with a video. They also told us that they could make photos out of any of the moments on the video, Therefore, we didn't hire a wedding photographer. Now we are left with nothing!

We have contacted our credit card holder and filed a dispute to get the charges removed. We have also filed a complaint with the Ohio State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. We will also be filing a claim in small claims court.

We would like to take part in a class action suit.

It's horrible that they are not giving us a memory of our wedding! If there is a law that requires them to pay for emotional distress and the loss of a very special keepsake - I'd like to see the "book thrown at them!" They deserve the maximum penalty! Frankly, I think their business should be closed. It's horrible to ruin someone's keepsake of such a special event. They have done it to others! They must be stopped!!!

My message to A Solid Gold: How can you sleep at night? How very ruthless and callous to rip people off and ruin their special memories!

Sooner or later Karma will pay you tenfold for the evil you have perpetrated. Count on it!

A Solid Gold Sound, Wedding Videographers

While we have yet to get a response or our wedding video from A Solid Gold Sound, we encourage anyone that has been ripped off by these scum-bags to do the following.

If you paid with a credit card, file a dispute with your credit card holder for a full refund. We did just that and our credit card holder supported us. They credited the money back to our account. At least get your money back!

Other steps:

File a complaint with your State Attorney General and the State Attorney General of Kentucky, where John Kruer, company owner lives.

We did some investigating. We called the licensing bureau in his area. HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A BUSINESS LICENSE!

Call the police dept. of Edgewood, Kentucky and report him.

We hired A Solid Gold Sound for our wedding in September 2006. We have called dozens of times and they keep lying saying that the video will come. Now that i have read all the other reports, I see that this company needs to be stopped.

Let's all get together and file class action suit and get this guy who is destroying people's wedding memories and stealing from innocent people.

Can you give me the names and numbers of your last dozen jobs? It's not that I don't trust you, or anything.

That's what you say.

Then, you call and see what the references say.

No references? Well, then you're gambling.

Call the idiots up and see if they have anything left from your wedding. The video tapes. Digital photos. Maybe a hand drawing on a soggy napkin.

Get whatever they do have left. It may not be a DVD with top-notch production.

But, unless these idiots have something to give you, all you will end up with is what's in your memory.
