Complaint Review: A Solid Gold Sound

I recieved a phone call about thier Dj and Video service. They seemed great, very nice and offered a great package. To garantee that offer I had to leave a deposit. So I did. Later that night I went online to the website to find out he charged me $100 more, then I researched the company (on the BBB and the bad BB) and read terrible things about the company about how a Dj showed up late and many people never recieving their video's. I later found out they were not even located in my state. None of the addresses are real they are all po boxes. They are only located in KY. To top it off all the different numberes to call all lead to the same few guys. I found out they subcontract people in your state. I am sorry, but when subcontracting people you've never met how is the work suppose to be consistent. I was'nt going to risk my wedding. On that note I cancaled my services, I don't even care about the $200 this company should not be in business. I have put too much money and time into planning my wedding to get it ruined by people I can't even meet with. They have absolutly no control on what happens that day. It's the draw of luck with the subcontracter, either you get a good one or an awful one. Thats just not a risk I am going to take on my one and only wedding day.
