I received a letter in the mail from AT&T Wireless for free phones. I called and was pretty happy with their prices.

Little did I know. I received my three phones in the mail. One phone had more minutes that the other two.

It was not explained to me each phone/phone number was assigned the particular minutes. So the person that was to use the phone with the most minutes used a phone that was assigned less minutes.

So it ended up that the minutes were used up pretty quick. I got a bill 2 weeks later for $269.67 for 2 weeks of service ! !

I called to find out what the problem was and was told that first, the phone with the most minutes was being used by the wrong person.

Second, I was told that because I started my contract in the middle of the month, I did not get a whole months worth of minutes.

I was NEVER told or explained any of this information to me before I agreed to have these phones sent out to me.

When you call into their customer service to inquire about thier service and phones. They are very pushy. They make everything sound so good. But they don't explain any of the minor details or fine print. Luckly I had a 30 day trial to try out the service. If I was not happy I could return the phones. But just had to pay for any minutes used.

The phones are returned, and now I am stuck with a $269.67 bill.

I am just glad I called with in the 30 limit. If I would have just waited a few more days, I would have been stuck in a contract I was not happy with and have to pay cancellation fees on all 3 phones.

I will never refer any one to A T & T ! !
