A Team Moving Company Inept, mishandled account, terrible move, unfairly charged extra. Richardson Texas
I have moved many times in my life, and this was by far the absolute worst. I'll try to be concise, because this complaint could quickly become long winded due to how poorly I was treated.
1. Movers arrived without tools necessary to disassemble furniture, and claimed they didn't know they were needed, despite this information being provided in the quote. We had to unpack our tools for them to perform these services.
2. Movers arrived in a water logged truck without enough tarps/blankets to safely wrap furniture, so we had to go buy some ourselves.
3. This resulted in the truck having to be loaded only halfway, which meant that they had to make another trip back to the house, for which we were charged an additional $673.00.
4. One of the movers took drinks from our refrigerator, left toilet paper on our bathroom floor and the toilet unflushed.
5. Upon calling the company, both sales reps and sales managers sympathized and apologized many times, but then transferred to customer service manager who treated us the worst that we've ever been treated.
They flat out lied and said that the movers didn't know it was a 3 bedroom house and that's why they didn't bring enough equipment (untrue).
At the time of the move I had strep throat, and when my husband called, said manager told him that I was hoarse when I booked the move and they didn't understand me (untrue). She proceeded to talk over both of us, yell at me, and tell me she wouldn't work with us on a resolution to these issues.
6. Movers dropped boxes of my heirloom dishes and scraped my walls with my heirloom furniture, then yelled at my friend when she noticed scratches on my refrigerator.
This was literally the worst experience I've ever had, and I will absolutely be telling anyone who will listen never to use this company.
