Let me start by saying this was hands down the worst experience I ever had with any company or business. I hired a-z to renovate a home in the Brooklyn area - kitchen, bathroom, floors, molding detail and painting. Once the job started I regretted ever contacting this company and surely paid the price for making a bad decision. The business is ran and operated by David and Yochai Hindy (he refers to himself as Mike). They assured me prior to beginning that their team had a lot of experience and could produce beautiful finished results. Upon starting the job the very first day I met the project manager, Z, a 19 year old kid.
He was unskilled, unprofessional and as time went by I realized he was unreliable. He didn't know the first thing about construction and caused too many mistakes to name and delayed my job by more then 6 weeks. They opened up a group chat on whatsapp to have me along with the staff on a clear communication board with each other which I thought was a smart idea, however even with the owner and managers in the group the level of miscommunication and mistakes was astounding.
I really felt tricked in to investing my money in this company as the "good reviews" I read from previous customers did not match my experience at all. After being lied to repeatedly by a-z and having such poor quality work done I had to figure out if it was just my bad l luck that there was something going on internally within the company during the time of my job or if I was fed all lies. To my surprise, I discovered after careful examination and research more then 75% of their reviews were fake.
This goes for both Yelp and Google. My teenage son, he is much more involved with the internet and social media then I am, googled and checked social sites for the owners and found a Facebook page which spilled the beans. Yochai Hindy repeatedly posted on his account for anyone on this friends list (friends and family) that had a Yelp account to post a review in the company's name. (Attached pictures below - you can cross reference the names to the existing reviews). Also, after thoroughly going through his friends list we found other names of other reviews, on Google that stood out.
What it boils down to is this company bribes and pays people to post false reviews of the company to mislead people in to hiring them. I can tell you from personal experience that a-z is a joke of a company and does not deserve the one star I am forced to give here. Word of advice please do careful research and take your time before choosing any company to do work for you and beware of scammers such as a-z.

Hello our names is Mike & David owners of atoz renovations. To all our clients who are reading all the negative reviews directed at our company. All these posts are completely false and does not reflect who we are as a company. We are a dedicated construction company that works diligently to provide our clients with the best possible service. We hired a 3rd party private investigation team and completed a long and thorough investigation Also with the help From Yelp & Google We were able to track down the individual who is posting all of these false reviews against our company. As you can see all the negative reviews is posted consecutively one after another in a short period of time. This individuals goal is to paint our company as a scam which is completely false. During the process of the investigation we found all of the negative reviews were being posted by an ex-employee who is working diligently to try to take revenge on our company. Over a long and patient process we have compiled all the necessary evidence to prove all the negative reviews are completely false and are in the process of working with our Legal team to take legal action. This individual posted negative reviews on multiple review website platforms like yelp & ripoff. We notified yelp & Google And their yelp responded accordingly & immediately removed all of the negative reviews. Once our legal team completes our pending case vs The individual we will comment With More info until then stay tuned. Lastly we at Atoz Renovations take pride in our customer service skills.
