I contacted A! on 10/06 to find out about a flyer I found on-line regarding repairing my ice maker. The flyer claims large inventory of parts on hand and $89 service fee, however, if you do suggested repairs, the service fee is waived. I knew ice maker needed replacing and when I scheduled appointment I confirmed my brand is one the normally service. We scheduled an appointment and they were to give 30 minute warning before arriving.
Problems - no warning of arrival. Ice maker needs replacing and they do not have it in stock. Even with this, I still went ahead. Choice was to pay the $89 for nothing, or pay $260 for full replacement.
I was told up to 5 days for parts to come in. Well the next Monday still had not heard anything so I called and was advised it had just come in and they scheduled an appointment for 8-12 the next day.
At noon they still had not arrived so I called the office. Was advised the technician got held up and he would call me. By 8pm, I still had no call and no idea when they are coming. I called the office and left a message.
I have now been told they are processing a refund, however, 3 weeks later no refund. And when I call the office I am placed on hold and then the call is disconnected. And then when I call back, they do not answer.
Total ripoff and cannot speak to anyone at the business to find out where my money is.
