These guys are total ripoff artists and conmen. Asking to be paid in cash, and then delay after delay after delay.
Followed by dozens of excuses....
Originally, they said it would take two days. I gave him a downpayment in cash, at his request, and they did one day of work and then disappeared for a few days. I had to leave town a week into this, so I left the final payment check with my neighbor. (Neighbor also was part of this deal, as our townhouses are all connected.) Somehow, the painter (Nick Vigil) conned my neighbor into giving him the final payment check before the job was completed. Then they bailed and did not finish job. Sucks!
