We moved 6 weeks ago, hiring A1 Razorback Movers to move us from Hot springs, AR to Banner Elk, NC.  The move was a disaster. This moving company used no professional backing material and in many cases used our personal belongings to pack with, (clothes, towels, blankets, draperies). Many of these items are no longer usable. They used different moving trucks as they loaded our furniture and then took these trucks to another location to reload into other vans. As a result, not all of our furniture arrived. They provided no itemized packing list and made no inventory as they packed. Their packers were very rude.

Our furniture, including many antiques and art work, were not wrapped or tied down in the moving van. This resulted in severly damaged furniture and lots of broken glass. This included, but not limited to, an antique dining room table that was split into because it had wrought iron furniture placed on top of it. Every category of household items(s) sustained damage. Much of the art work will have to be reframed as the frames were broken. Many of the moving boxes were not even taped shut, but placed in the van opened.

The conditon of the van(s) follows: 1. A rented U-Haul with no packing straps, 2. an old moving van with no brake lights and no packing straps. Two inexperienced 18 year olds, and a man who had only worked for the company a week and who had never driven a van before were sent on this job. They left the van in our driveway over night because they were afraid to drive it down the hill because of its condition.

To date, we have received no communication from Mr. Robertson(owner), despite multiple attempts since June 8th, 2013. He claims to be fully insured, and we were told that all damaged goods would either be replaced or repaired. This has NOT happened.  BUYER BEWARE!!
