Complaint Review: AA Transmission Doctors

I spoke with the mechanic that performed the repair before the work was done. The mechanic said he could repair it but I specifically told him to replace the left catalytic converter which is the one closest to the radiator.

I know it was the left catalytic converter because the thread was stripped where the O2 sensor goes. Ridgecrest Automotive physically pointed out the catalytic converter that needed to be replaced. The technician stated the part was not new and that there was no catalyst in the catalytic converter.
