AAA Alpha And Omega Cremation Center Paid for services provided by my company with a credit card by phone, then went back and reported the charge as Fraudulent Transaction so they were refunded their payment Hollywood Florida
On September 15, 2008 my Company provided Cremation service's for AAA Alpha and Omega Cremation Center. It is Comman practice for one Funeral Director to help out of state funeral director's with Cremation's to save a family on expense's of transportation.
My Firm provided the service's requested,and sent the remain's to the family on behalf of AAA Alpha and Omega Cremation Center.
Payment for these service's was not sent to my firm. We called often and were given many excuse's why the payment was not sent. We were told the check would be sent on Monday, Monday come's no check, we call back are told to call Wednesday for a credit card payment. Wednesday come's, we call but something always is happening and the payment will be made in two day's.
On Janruary 26, 2009 after calling and expressing my displeasure with their payment procedure, and informing them of action I plan to take if my firm is not paid today I was given a Credit Card number and ran the payment. Payment processed fine and I was glad to be finished dealing with AAA Alpha and Omega Cremation Center in Hollywood, Florida.
On February 23, 2009 I opened a statement from my bank telling me that charges processed on 1-16-2009 had been reported as a "Fraud Transaction- No Cardholder Authority", my firm was never notified by AAA Alpha and Omega about any such problem's with the card or the payment. They never arranged to make payment to my firm or informed me that charges to the card would be reversed.
As a Funeral Director this is unacceptable practice and show's lack of integrity. In dealing with the people who represent AAA Alpha and Omega Cremation Center I would never tell a family to trust them with the care of their LOVED one's. These people showed no professionalism in any of the action's they displayed while my firm was working with them. I could not imagine them providing peace of mind to anyone if they treat the familie's as bad as my staff and I were treated.
