Complaint Review: Aaa Big Student Movers Inc

first of all, the movers did not show up as scheduled. when i contacted them, the owner, joe, said a truck broke down, and he initially wanted us to wait around until they could get a truck out to us{sometime in the next 12 hours or so}. i asked to a scheduled time, and the movers were 8 hours later than planned.

when they showed up, they were not in a moving truck, nor were they compnay employees-they were using a trailer, and were contract labor.{owner promised bonded and insured company employees}. one guy was on the phone during the move fighting with his wife the whole time!

when i spoke with the owner about this, he told me if we complained, the movers would start breaking things, and since they are not company employees, there would be a $8500 deductible, and they would not have to pay for much.

so, basically, we were lied to, threatened, intimidated, and the owner told me that they have no responsibility to us at all. i spoke with both joe and don, and they lied and threatened me......

avoid this company!
