I usually check this website to find out info on all companies I am thinking about conducting business with, personal or business to see if there is a report on them. This however appeared to be a legitimate company searching for employees, using the info placed on the Job Career website, who post their Resumes in hope of finding work. The Name Citfin Bank (CIT) is close in apperance to the well known CITI Finance Bank, who is huge! I am writing to warn every-one about this solicitation to deceptively lead individuals to their Website, pretending to be a CEO of the CITBank and are interested in employing them. Personal information is asked for, you are sent their website to gain the info on registering your company using your home address, applying for a tax ID#, but, stating that they will pay the taxes because of their location (Russia). You are to open up the Bank account etc. I did not fall for this, but are passing on this information to those individuals who as I have done, am searching the Bad Business Report Website for deceptive companies such as this one. GOOD LUCK, and GOD BLESS! Thank You RipOff Report!

Juanita,

I received your voicemail, thanks for clearing this up. Yes, please forward me the scam email to matt@mynewcompany.com so I can further investigate and report to the proper authorities.

We definitely don't want to do business with anyone involved in any type of scam, even if we're not aware of it.

Also, if there's anyway to modify your original report to remove our name that would be great. I can just see our potential clients finding this page, quickly glancing, not reading the rebuttals and assuming that we're somehow involved.

Thanks,

Matt Knee

This is being revised, because of the rebuttal of one of the Companies mentioned in the first report. MyNewCompany.com has confessing to not being involved in this scam. Their Company is there to help you legally start a Business. My apology to all who have been hurt, this was not my intention. I wanted to warn others, as I explained in my report, and my in call to Matt. Being that this person, Aalexey Melihov specifically directs you to one of these sites mentioned, it appears that they are involved, but everything is not always what it appears to be. Again my deepest apology. If you wish I can copy and paste the e-mail that I received directing me to your website etc. so that you may do what you wish. I saved it. Again, Thank You RipOff for sending me these comments, so that I am aware.

Mr. Knee is correct this is not his company. This a common scam run by Russian organized crime(and some Nigerians too). The point of the scam is to get people to cash stole and fake checks for them. I'm glad you were smart enough to see though it.

Your problem is with the website owners

not the consumer. Perhaps your "explanation" would be best suited being posted on your website rather than trying to make the OP out to be the problem here rather than this "evil" website that directs them.
You have far bigger problems than this little report if what you say is indeed true.

I'm sorry, but MyNewCompany.com is not involved.

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Hi,

My name is Matt Knee, President of MyNewCompany.com, Inc. I believe that including our company in this rip-off report is not fair or even makes sense.

Whomever is running the scam is apparently just sending their victims to our website (and that of our competitor "Corporate.com") to have them start a company (which is what we do, help our clients' start companies by filing the necessary paperwork). The scammer then (i guess?) intends to make the scammee do illegal or wrong things with the company.

Including our company name as if we had something to do with the original scam would be like me filing a report on Wal-mart if a scammer told me to go to Wal-Mart to buy materials for making fake passports or some such thing.

Anyway, we're a respectable company, have 1,000's of satisfied clients, we're Honor Roll BBB Members, Chamber of Commerce members. I'll gladly personally speak to anyone who thinks or has reason to believe otherwise.

Call me direct on my cell phone: 702-349-3950 or email me matt@mynewcompany.com.

Thanks and I hope whomever submitted the complaint resolves the situation with the offender and sees that we're not connected in any way.

Sincerely,

Matt Knee
