This Agency places ads in Magazines like "THE PENNYSAVER" stating that they have properties for rent. When you call them, they have you come in and pay $160.00 for them to give you a list of properties, with the promise that if they don't find you a place to rent in 90 days, you get a refund of 100.00.

The list is made up of listings they get from the newspaper for free, and in some cases the property owners don't even know that their properties are listed. In one case, the address listed was a vacant lot,the original property you read about that had you call in the first place was never available, and in another case the property had no doors or windows and they wanted to know why we weren't interested in it!

All of the listings were incorrect, if the listing said it was a 3 bedroom house,it was really a 2 bedroom apartment, if the paper stated it had a pool for example, it didn't. We not only had no luck finding a place to live we had to go into their office twice a week to sign in and get a new listing, which had no real information on it.

Now our 90 days are up, we found our own place to live without any assistance from this agency, and they will not give us our refund. Myself and my wife complained, and my wife had to endure profanity screamed at her by the man claiming to be the owner.

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:

Their email: trashlink@usa.net

Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion

Rebuttal:
Amazing you state everything was taken from the paper then you go on to state properties in the list were everything from vacant or had no doors and windows.

So what you are saying is everything in the newspaper is either not available, has no doors or windows or are all incorrect.

Maybe you should complain about the listings in the newspaper as well!

These companies compile their listings from literally dozens of resources newspapers realtors etc there are not too many people that have all day long everyday to thumb there way through thousands of listings in dozens of newspapers looking for all the latest, that is what agencies are charging for, unless you are willing to buy a couple of dozen newspapers contact a hundred realtors daily and employ a couple of staff to do it for
you, I suggest you pay a company like an agency to do it its a lot cheaper and quicker.

In regards to profanity, your wife was probably acting a little un lady like when she called the company other wise how come the owner had to come to the phone?
