 Brought my car in to get my transmission check and it took them 4 days to diagnostic that's one,then then told me I need a new tranny so I gave them the go ahead to fix it ,after almost a month I get my car back, the car makes noise on one side ,they broke a bracket on my radiator, don't know why that they had to touch the radiator, then my front hood is off line and doesn't shut probably and a big long scratch on the top of the hood ,and then the car shakes when I drive ,and last put not least it looks like they side swipe something on the passenger side, after having my car for almost a month ,all this happen there,so now I have to take them to small claims court, stay away from there

 I took my car to another aamco Bob and didn't tell them that aamco was the one that did the work ,not only they gave me a written Estimate on the damage but they also said what a sloppy job was done and I kept on calling john to see what's going on with my car he not once ever call me and got proof of that,and I gave him the ok to fix my car the 3rd day because he told me they was still testing the problem,so it took a Professional tranmission place 3 days to found out the problem, something is wrong with that then john told me I will have it 2 days yeah right 21 days later I get my car back with damage, see you in court and for the close account that's no problem

As the owner of AAMCO in Patchogue NY, I was disappointed to read your interesting although not quite fully factual comments.  Yes, your vehicle was with us for 26 days however, we waited 5 days for you to authorize a replacement used transmission to be installed.  Once we received your ok, we needed to locate a good used transmission to help ensure the work would be completed properly.  Once the best available transmission was located and delivered, the work was completed as promised and we needed to wait for you to make payment arrangements (several credit cards, some cash and a check which was wriiten on a closed account).  Our work on the vehicle did not require any interaction with your radiator and our detailed vehicle completion check showed no marks or issues with your hood.  I'll just add that you attempted to dispute the credit card charges by claiming you "did not recognise the charges".  My shop has been servicing this community over 40 years and we take pride in our excellent reputation.  I'm sorry you may be feeling buyers remorse however, we did not cause your vehicle to break down.  We just provided a good repair at a fair price.  You are also correct regarding seeing me in court as writing a check on a closed account is a felony in NY.
