OWNER FRANK MITCHELL USE SALES TACTICS AN LIES TO SUPPOSTELY FIXED MY FORD EXPLORER 2006 TRUCK THAT ONLY LAST ONLY ONE DAY AS WELL HIS EMPLOYEE MARIO THAT MAKE FEEL I WAS REALLY DOING BUSINESS WITH A VERY SERIOUS AND TRUSTFUL PEOPLE BUT ENDED TO BE A NIGHTMARE.



03.10.10 CONTACT AAMCO SPOKE WITH MARIO HE TOLD FROM THE BEGINNER THAT HE CAN REALLY SAVE ME MONEY JUST BY DOING A DIAGNOSTIC IN THE TRANSMISSION AND FIND IT THERE WAS A ELECTRIC, HYDRAULIC OR MAYBE SOMETHING VERY SIMPLE.



03.17.10 AGAIN SPOKE WITH REP MARIO AND AGAIN HE ASSURE HE CAN SAVE ME MONEY BUT DOING A DIAGNOSTIC.  I ASK HIM IN THE WORST SCENARIO WHAT WILL BE THE PRICE TO REBUILD HE TOLD ME $1195.00.



03.22.10 CTC MARIO AND TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD AND PICK UP MY TRUCK FROM JORDAN FORD, LATER THAT DAY MARIO CONTACT ME AT TOLD THAT THE TRANSMISSION THAT HE TOUGH MY TRUCK HAS WAS MORE EXPENSIVE TO REBUILD SO TOLD ME THAT WILL BE $1295.00 TO REBUILD AND POSSIBLE HARD PARTS



03.23.10 MARIO CONTACT ME AND TOLD ME THAT DEFINITELY THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REBUILD AND ALSO SEVERAL HARD PARTS NEEDS TO BE REPLACE, TORQUE CONVERTER, SOLENOID BLOCK, O/D PLANET, SPRAG SO HE ADDED $1500.00 MORE IN TOP OF THE REBUILD PRICE SO TOTAL TO FIXED MY TRUCK WAS OVER $2700.00 I TOLD MARIO THAT I WILL CALL HIM BACK TO SEE IF I WANT IT FIXED FOR THAT OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT.



03.24.10 I WENT TO AAMCO WITH MY BROTHER TO PICK UP THE TRUCK DUE I DID NOT WANT THEM TO FIXED BECAUSE IT WAS OVERPRICE IN THE PARTS AND THE LABOR COST HOWEVER WENT WE TOLD MARIO OUR INTENTIONS TO TAKE THE TRUCK AS IT IS HE BECOME VERY RUDE AN UNPROFESSIONAL HE JUST TOLD US WE NEED TO PAY $550.00 JUST FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC. WE TOLD THAT WAS INSANE AN WE WANT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER OR OWNER HE STATED HE WAS THE MANAGER AND WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT BUT HE WILL NOT ALLOWED FOR US TO TAKE THE TRUCK UNLESS WE PAY THAT AMOUNT. AFTER WE CONTACT OUR LEGAL ADVISOR WE APPROACH AGAIN MARIO AN TOLD HIM THAT WE JUST WANT TO TAKE OUR TRUCK AND BE OVER WITH THIS ORDEAL SO WE ASK HIM WHAT WILL BE THE LESS WE CAN PAY SO WE CAN TAKE THE TRUCK HE STATED $475.00 BECAUSE HE HAS TO CHARGED 5.5 @ 85.00 PER HOUR. WE DID NOT HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE SO WE AGREE.



"WELL THINKING THAT WAS IT THE REAL MANAGER COME OUT (FRAK MITCHELL OWNER) AND START SPOKEN HIS SALES TECHNIQUES OF LYING AN PUT IN MY MIND THAT IF I GO ANOTHER WAY I MAY ENDED TO HAVE A LOT OF MORE PROBLEMS LIKE SOMEBODY ELSE FIXING IT IMPROPERLY OR PUT INCORRECTLY A USED TRANSMISSION SO HE STATED THAT HE WILL FIXED  AS IT STATED IN THE ESTIMATE WITH ALL THE PART BRAND NEW AND EVERY SINGLE ITEM FOR THE AMOUNT OF  $1975.00 SO AFTER 30 MINUTES OF REPEATING HIMSELF ASSURE ME THAT HE WILL FIXED MY TRUCK AN DOING THE RIGHT WAY THE 1ST TIME SO I DO NOT HAVE TO COME BACK. I ENDED TO GIVE THE JOB TO AAMCO BECAUSE THE OWNER ASSURE THAT HE WILL GIVE  MY TRUCK WELL FIXED AND ALL THE NEW PARTS WILL BE REPLACE AS STATED IN THE ESTIMATE.



03.27.10 I GOT A CALL FROM FRANK MITCHELL STATED THAT MY TRUCK WAS FIXED  I CAN PICK UP MY TRUCK I WENT TO HIS  LOCATION AN BEFORE I PAY FOR THE REPAIRS I REQUEST A TEST DRIVE WHAT IT WAS MY SURPRISE  HE DID NOT ALLOWED ME TO DROVE MY TRUCK INSTEAD HE WENT STRAIGHT TO THE DRIVER SEAT AND TOLD THAT HE WILL TEST IT FOR ME.  SO I DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO TEST SO WHEN WE COME BACK HE ASSURE ME EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY WORRIES BECAUSE I HAVE ONE YEAR "LIMITED" WARRANTY. WELL AFTER I LEAVE THE AAMCO LOCATION FROM THE BEGINNER I NOTICE EVERY SINGLE TIME I PUT THE TRUCK IN DRIVE IT TOOKED A WHILE TO GO I TOUGHT IT WILL BE FIXED IN COUPLE OF TIMES AFTER I DRIVE BUT IT WAS GETTING WORST LIKE WHEN I WAS IN A HILL AND HAVING THE TRUCK IN DRIVE WAS GOING BACKWARD OR IN REVERSE WAS GOING TO THE FRONT.



03.28.10 AFTER I DROVE THE TRUCK TOTAL OF 110 MILES AND WHILE I WAS IN A FAMILY PARTY AND WITH 20 WITNESS THE TRUCK STOP WORKING AGAIN AND EVERYBODY WAS SO ASTONISH AND SURPRISE.



03.30.10 CONTACT AAMCO AN SPOKE WITH FRANK I TOLD ABOUT THE SITUATION AND HIS ANSWER WAS THAT I SHOULD TRY AGAIN TO DRIVE MY TRUCK. (WELL IT WAS CLEAR THE TRUCK WAS NOT WORKING BUT HE ASK TO DO SOMETHING LIKE IT WILL WORK OUT NOWHERE THAT WAS THE MOST STUPID THING I EVER HEAR)



03.31.10 CTC FRANK MITCHELL AGAIN AND I TOLD IT WAS THE SAME WAY BROKEN TRASNMISSION SO I START QUESTIONING ABOUT THE PARTS, HE BECOME VERY IRATE AND UNRESPONSIVE I REQUEST TO SHOW ME THE RECEIPTS FOR THE PARTS THEY REPLACE IT AND HE STATED HE HAVE IT.



04.02.10 IN MY DAY OFF I FINALLY WENT TO AAMCO TALK TO THE OWNER FRANK AND HER WIFE SYBELL AND THEY WERE OUT CONTROL SCREAMING AND YELLING ME SEVERAL TIMES INSTEAD ME THE CONSUMER BE ANGRY AND UPSET BECAUSE THEY LIED TO ME AND WERE UN-ETHIC BY SELLING THEIR SERVICES AND THE TRANSMISSION DID NOT LAST MORE THAN A DAY. WHEN I ASK ABOUT THE RECEIPTS HE DID NOT ALLOWED TO SEE PROPERLY HE WAS HOLDING IT AND PUT IT IN MY FACE SO CLOSE SO I COULD UNDERSTAND BUT I SAW THAT THERE WAS NOT EVEN MORE THAT 4 RECEIPTS AND THE AMOUNT WAS VERY LITTLE LESS THAN $250 VERSUS THE $1500 THEY WERE TRY TO CHARGED ME FOR PARTS. HE STATED THAT HE CAN USE USED PARTS THAT HE HAS WITH HIM AND HE CAN USE IT WITH OUT TELLING ME AS WELL HE CAN CHARGED AS IT THERE WAS NEW. (AMAZING THE WAY THEY DO BUSINESS I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY RIPPED OFF PER YEAR, MONTH OR EVEN EVERY DAY)

04.03.10 AFTER I SAW ALL THE REPORTS FORM SUCH FRANCHISE I DID A STOP PAYMENT FROM MY BANK FOR THE CHECK PORTION AND THEY STILL GOT $500.00 FOR A CREDIT LINE THAT I OPEN THROUGH THEM. NOW WITH THAT EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER TAKE MY TRUCK TO THAT SHOP AND WILL MAKE SURE PEOPLE IS AWARE. TO FIX MY ORDEAL I JUST BUY IT A USED TRANSMISSION WITH 32K MILES FOR $900.00 AND WITH LABOR I ENDED TO PAY ONLY $1250.00 VS  THE $2700 ORIGINAL PRICE THAT AAMCO TRY TO OVERCHARGE ME.

Mr Huazano did not like the $4000.00 transmission price Jordan Ford quoted him.  He said he did not trust Jordan Ford and wanted us to fix his car and tow it out of Jordan Ford.  After he authorzied the repairs and came to pick up his car he wanted to drive off in it BEFORE HE PAID.  Products do not leave any American Business without documentation or payment.  We took him on the test drive and his car drove perfectly.  He did not say "Hey what is that jerking, what is that hesitation...".  After he paid his bill he immediately stopped payment on his check.  He then telephoned and said his car did not work.  We asked him where the vehcile was so it could be  towed in free of charge and repaired.  He never returned the vehicle. 


Aamco Tranmissions does work for hundreds of fleet and local companies and all these companies  expected their warranty  to be honored by Aamco; as state law required.  Never has any company or customer ever stopped payment on a check, a crimminal act in the state of Texas.   This Aamco center has always honored its warranties.   It does not matter how far you go from your original repair center.   When our customer, an  American Soldier was sent to Alaska  we honored his warranty and shipped him a transmission because he was still covered by his 36/36 warranty.    What we find is people entering this country are not versed in stated and federal law.  It is illegal to authorize repairs and stop payment.  I feel Mr. Huazano wanted dealer quality work with a guarantee that covered his out of state trips but he was not comfortable paying for those repairs.  Thus the stop payment and the refusal to return the vehicle for repairs.  Mr. Huazano's vehicle had New Mexico license plates and he stated he had just moved down from New Mexico to Texas.  Our warranty would have been honored in Texas or back in New Mexico if he decided to return.  We would have backed up our repairs it is unfortunate that Mr. Huazano was not honorable enough to back up his word. 


In closing, Mr. Huazano's check was paid by our check insurance company.  I hope they stop him from cheating American Companies and refuse to accept his check whenever he shops at American stores.  I hope they prosecute his crimminal act.  Texas does not appreciate law breakers.

First off i would love to apoligize about the way you were treated, nobody deserves that.  But to think that a business will not mark up the prices to make some sort of profit, you have to be out there.  Every single company marks up prices to make a profit thats how they stay in bussiness.  Dont forget Labor becuase it is a shop. Now another fact yes it a franchise yes corparte does teach the managers and the owners on how to take advantage of you, Yes that sucks very much,  but there are some out there that will not take advantage of you.  If you dont feel comfortable dont go there end of story
