AAmco Transmission Rip off wanted $400 just to look
This is for my son. His '95 Ford Ranger slipped out of gear and would not go back into gear in Seguin TX. He had it towed back to Neu Braunfelds to the AAMCO dealer there. He then had to come back to Houston for work. When he called to see if they could fix it they said it would take $400 just to look at it. They then called back and said it would cost $3000 to just replace the transmission. What can he do?
