Aamco Transmission ripping off the elderly and triple chargeing for crappy work ripoff Bountiful Utah
I took my car in just to have them tell me why the transmission was making a noise. I never heard back so I called and he told me he was short handed and they couldnt get to it till the end of next week so I said I was coming to get it and take it else where because it had already been a week since I dropped it off to them, when i got to the company i ask for my keys and the owner of the business handed them to me. my car was parked in front of the bldg and they had removed the transmission .
I had not authorized them to do that. when I went in to talk to them about it they said that if I wanted to take my car that I would have to pay them $650.00 for there work of removing the transmission and to re-install it. or pay $2000.00 to fix it--(-DA )
They ended up putting a used transmission in it from a junk yard With no warrante and gouged me for $1968.13. Now tell me if they are just about the biggest ripoffs of the year . All you davis county people dont ever take your automobiles to be fixed by that scam artest especially if you are elderly and have a small social security check cause Bob will scam you first. He had my car for 22 days and now he's got all my savings.
