2 transmission and still not correct. Went to Homes financial services of Anderson, where I had a lone on my 1987 chevy truck, needed a transmission for my truck, that I had paid down to 1800.00 to borrow the money to get it fix. Kay Slawson of 909 S highway 187 the manager of Homes said she would let me borrow the money to pay for repair to my truck, only if I took it to AAMCO Transmission. their est. was 1200.00. Kay printed the check, they had my truck for 4 days. 1200.00 and a year warrety.

1 year and one day it quit working. took it back to AAMCO. 600.00 more for parts and only 6 months warr. and it still not fixed, it slip all the time. took it back 4 time for them to check it out. They said that I sould not carry heavy things in my truck, that was the problem. the thing I was carring in my truck was a 150LB. peace of wood for carving.

When back to Homes fin. ser. to see if I could get Kay Slawson to help get it fix after all that was who she required to fix it for the loan. Do you know what I mean. She said she would call them.

The Manger at AAMCO call told me to bring my truck in he would look at it, I did, He did. told me nothing was wrong with it.

Come to find out the lady at Homes fin., Is the wife of the man that the manger of the AAMCO transmission Place. So I refused to make another payment on my truck till if was fix. That was my choice. Well yes they repo my truck. and sold it to her son.

She quit the fin co when I took leagel action on it. So now there is nothing I can do. But let everybody know.
Nothing good will every happen to them I will see to that. Oh Kay Slawson went to work there after she quit Homes Fin. Wonder how many other people got rip off by the 2 Company.
Thank you

Man I've seen it all now the mans wife reporting the truth. Like she's going to say hey husband I'm sorry but I got to tell it like it is. Joseph life is a learning curve and you never stop learning do you. Any time some one who you owe money to offers to give you more but you have to spend it where I tell you. Thats like the cable company giving you a refund and just sign it and put it in the mail as part of next months bill payment now don't take it to a bank because it ain't worth nothing. And what are you doing taking a loan out from someone who owns a AAMCO anyway? Always tell people what happened and don't worry about looking stupid the next person you tell,You may save them from the same mistake. Greg

To Whom It May Concern

Joseph knew from the beginning that my husband owned Aamco Transmissions. He had taken his truck there back in 2000 to have it checked out and he knew then that my husband was there.

I did work for Home Financial and did make a loan to Joseph to get his truck repaired but, it was not mandatory nor a condition of the loan that he had to take it to Aamco. It was merely a suggestion.

Home Financial did repossess the truck on August 2, 2002 because of delinquency in payments. The truck was sold on August 29, 2002. I retired on August 15, 2002. I did not sell his truck because I was no longer employed there. And the manager did not sell the truck to my son as you stated. The truck was sold to a Mr. Wright. I contacted Home Financial to get the facts myself. There has never been any legal action taken against me or Home Financial in this matter. I did not quit my job because of any type of legal action. I simply retired.

It seems strange to me that you would wait a year and 8 months to come foward with a complaint. If anyone is going to sue anyone I should sue you for giving false information.

To Whom This Concerns

Joseph brought his truck to us on 9.19.2000 for some transmission problems. His bill totaled 1292.81 and 1000.00 of it was paid by Home Financial.

Joseph said that his truck quit working one year and one day later. Well thats just not true. He came back to our center with some problems on 4.8.2002. As most people can tell this is well over a year and a day. Joseph's warranty was only for 12 months but being that he had problems this soon we both came to an aggreement of 600.00. We repaired his transmission and I have not seen Joseph since. If he has any problems I would be more than happy to help him out.

By the way Joseph Kay retired just so you know.
Be sure to get all of your facts strait before you start typing things on your computer.

Also Joseph I am her son ans I didn't buy your truck.

Lastly I don't know how you were ripped off when I honored your warranty for the full period of time.

Thanks
