Perfect credit, never missed a payment, and up pops two entries for a whopping $70 each from something that I was never contacted about and had no idea that I owed.  When I called, they didn't seem to know much more than it was a hospital visit from early 2007 - the entries were made in June 2011.  No bill, no idea, yet Experian and Transunion just allow some fly-by-night company to make two obviously erroneous entries into a perfect credit report.

This company is obviously crap to do something like this.  But I want to know how the h**l Experian and Transunion don't have some sort of filter to catch BS like this.  It's a time waster.  I called and paid immediately because of the low $$$ amount - likely bogus and completely made up.

Is Aargon Agency a fraudulent entity?  Do they steal identity information, freely available, and make up charges?  Or is this a real company?  I'm seriously asking this... as I don't know whether to call the FBI or what.

See my complaint about Aargon (I'm the complaint from Dallas).  They've done this to me twice now, and with a little bit of fighting back, both charges are removed now.  My advice is to contest this with everyone and anyone involved, from the collection agency, debt originator, and the reporting agency, demand proof other than basic validation that you in fact owe anyone anything.  Do it by phone AND by either electronic mail or registered mail (forming either an electronic or paper trail).  And don't be polite about it!
