Complaint Review: Aaron Barnes

Worked for this individual for a short while, and never received payment for my services.

I was an "employee" working for Aaron's "business" which (I found out at a later date) turned out to be him and his wife bidding on IT contracts, then assigning those same contracts to myself and other "employees." 

They got paid when the contracts were fulfilled, and the "employees" got screwed.

Some of the other "employees" I had the opportunity to meet, were unskilled and untrained workers, which in itself is a breach of contract with the original contract negotiators.  (You can't bid on a contract saying you are a licensed technician, and simply give the task to some unlicensed peon to complete)

After using a considerable amount of my own money for travel expenses performing on-site work orders over the course of a few weeks, I required payment in order to continue. 

I was denied payment for my services, and ultimately the charade came screeching to a halt.

I was, of course, given a completely made up story as to why I would be unable to get my money, and I still have all of my signed and completed contracts from the job sites I visited as well as the correspondence kept safely away.

The total amount (still) owed to me by Aaron is approximately $2,000 plus travel expenses.

He was running his "business" out of his home on Burr St. in Gary, IN.
