Aaron's Aaron's WILL NOT work with you, even when there is a Death in the Family. Pathetic is you ask me! Mineral Wells Texas

I went to Aaron's to get a Dining Table / chairs / Hutch for my Mom. I wanted to pay it off quickly, so I could also get her a Washer and Dryer. So I purchased the Dining Room Suite with the 120 SAME AS CASH contract. I made a downpayment and continued to make VERY large payment of $700.00 $500.00 etc and on the 3rd Month I was ready to pay off the entire price.

However my brother's wife passes suddenly and our whole family was consumed with tons of things that needed to be done. When I did have time to think about my Bills, I noticed I was (2) days past my 120 days. So I drove to Aaron's to pay off the contract and of course they said I missed my 120 days, I explained the death and asked if they could PLEASE understand and help me out. The person in charge said to give him a few days and he would ask his boss and told me that he believed that because of the circumstances that it should be fine, So I even went ahead and paid something on it that day.

I waited and a week went by. I went back to the store and asked if they had an answer, again they said they had not had time to speak with anyone, this went on for another Month, so I continued to make payments. Another Month passed and still I got no answer. I even got another boss to tell me to let him handle it, he would escalate the process. Once again, Nothing.

By now my Mom needed a washer and dryer, so instead of being able to do the sane 120 SAME AS CASH for it, I had to do a Monthly, because my Disability does not pay enough to make Two Large Payments at once. Finally last Month I went in to see for a definate Answer. I got this....

Well You Know (90 Days IS 90 DAYS)!!!!! I have never been so shocked by the lack of Compassion or a Company willing to help someone out. (2) DAYS away from paying it ALL off and they would NOT HELP me!!! Now I owe Hundreds and Hundreds of dollars in finance fees!

Bad Company Practices.....Heck I did NOT get my entire dining room when they said, I had to wait on 2 chairs that came weeks later. Sat in there store a week before they brought them over and put them together in my front yard.... VERY unprofessional!!

Aaron's Cares - Response...HAHAHAHAHA

PLEASE people, when you write a Report on here about a Company, BEWARE, that Company will usually have someone from within the Company write a "WE'RE SORRY Response" to the Negative Reports just to make it SEEM like they are SORRY for what you had to deal with. They will also ask you to PLEASE contact them so they can TRY to make things right!

WELL, that's a bunch of CRAP!!!!! I got that "WE'RE SORRY" response and I have called a dozen times and NEVER got a live person but still left a message. I have also sent at least (2) email messages to this Jessica person. Of course, I have not heard a SINGLE WORD back.

So, all these Companies are trying to do is to make it seem like they are seeking out all the Negative Publicity and they want the rest of you to think, WELL, look they are really trying to make things right with those people who were done wrong!. They must Really be a Good Company after-all....LOL

Well, like the saying goes, "When something seems to good to be true, it probably is".....SO, Stick to your Negative Reporting! Maybe someday, if we can affect their business enough they will wake up and TRY to be a better Company!!!! But do not hold your Breathe....

THE BOTTOM LINE - IS IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY. It always has been and will always be!  If I could ONLY cause a few thousand of you NOT to do business with Aaron's Company who only cares about the BOTTOM LINE, then maybe my Report was justified?!!!

The "OPINION" of Credit 900-Robert!.....

Robert...It's always so nice to see such Intellegent...lol... I mean booked-learned people such as yourself. I can see why you probably Barely passed English Lit. I guess you were not able to Grasp ENTIRE stories, and you only Pick and Choose a PART of a Story and run your "IDEA" around that.....

If you had possibly re-read the story you would have noticed MY REASONS as to why I felt it was a RIPOFF! First of all Robert, I also see that you never grew up in a Small town, a town where everyone knows each other and deals are done out of kindness because you may be good friends with a customers brother, etc.

Watch out for those ASSUMPTIONS Robert, they will , well you know!! Assuming I had ANY Circumstances at all, other than the death in the family is your ASSUMPTION that EVERYONE makes excuses to try and get out of deals. Well your ENTIRE REASONING about me is ONLY Your Personal feelings about people who are struggling with their credit, Hence My Title Roberts Credit score is 900. He is PERFECT and Has Never, Ever argued with anyone about anything that He felt was ripping him off. It must be Nice to have such a Perfect Life.

Anyway, enough of trying to explain your lack of knowledge about MY situation.

1. Robert this town is so small that Aaron's and RAC are the only places that sell furniture. So My "5" reasons of having to buy from them are only "1". We have no other place to buy from! So your Wrong about that ASSUMPTION!

2. And I am sure Companies like this do hear a Death in the Family alot. But once again this SMALL TOWN, including the person who runs Aaron's Knows my family member who passed on. In fact, nearly the entire town turned out for the funeral. So it's kinda difficult to get out of Lying about this Death Robert. So, Strike Two on your ASSUMPTIONS!

3. And Lastly, Robert...MY WHOLE Reasoning for feeling RiPPED-OFF is something that you forgot to even include in your Rebuttle! I walked in (2) days late with the entire payoff amount in my pocket and yet I was told that they would talk to their boss and make sure it's okay to do....And even say, I don't see there being any problem getting this done. Being RIPPEDOFF is being led to believe that week after week, Month after Month that they were still checking on it, while I am still paying..And then just out of the Blue.... You know 120 days IS a 120 days)! and I now have Hundreds of interest charges added and many Months of payments!. You NAME ANY other Finance Company that would NOT have taken my entire payment right then!

And Robert....you did NOT re-read the article once again. I purchased the Washer and Dryer DURING the time when I was being told they were just going to get it approved at the Next level...

So, next time you REBUTT.... Read the entire article and make your ASSUMPTIONS a little more Precise, because people like you who have Perfect Credit, should come across as more knowledgeable than others who are beneath you...

The 120(or was it 90) days same as cash, wasn't..Well it's only 90 days unless you have a very good reason.

The fact is that this(and other) Rent to Own places deal with people who have screwed up their credit.  A majority of those people will actually go out of their way to blame everyone else for their situation.  They will come up with reason after reason why THEY did not cause their bad credit.  Yes...I bet even you have at least 5 reasons why it is your "circumstances" that you HAD to go there in the first place.

As a result of the people they deal with, they hear the "death in the family" excuse probably 2-3 times a day as to why someone couldn't make a payment.  Because just remember...you had 90(or 120 days) to pay it off.  So if you are the one person who is actually telling the truth they are not going to take the time.  Then IF they make an exception...great, but if they don't it is NOT a RipOff.

Oh and don't say that you have great credit and could have gotten your items anywhere.  Because if that was the case you would not have purchased the Washer and Dryer from them AFTER all of this happened with the initial purchase.
