I called Aaron's Rental on June 1, 2006 to tell them I was moving, and would need them to move the refrig on June 28, 2006. They told me they would be there at 11:00 on the 29th to move it.

On June 27, 2006 I called the store to make sure everything was still set for the next day at 11:00. I was told it was.

On June 28th, I called the store at 11:30 since they never showed up. I was told that they were out delivering a new washer and dryer and when they got back to the store they would call me to let me know what time they were coming, and that they might have to reschedule.
I had already moved all the grocerys to the new house. Aaron's Rental never showed up until 2 pm that day. Needless to say all my food in the refrig and freezer was ruined.

When they got the refrig to the new house, they caught the frig on the back of the lift on there truck. It busted the vegitable draw, and the ice/water maker connection on the back on the refrig. They wasn't going to say a word about it. I asked them about it, they said they would replace it. I immediatly called the office. I was told my Stacy that they would have to order the parts and it would take about a week.

I have called the store repeatly. I even talked to the Manager Tom and he told me he was going to hang up on me.
It is now August 11, 2006 - the draw has been replaced they finally brought it last week. But the ice/water maker doesn't work, I have called several more times just to get the run around.

But, yet I have still made all the payments on the refrig even though I can't use the ice/water maker. I have also called and left several messages for the district manager, but he won't return my phone calls.

I have asked repeatly for them not to charge my credit card for the rental until its fixed, specailly since its been almost 2 month, but yet every month its charged to my credit card.

With Aaron's you signa a 6 month lease agreement and if you break this agreement you still have to pay the cost of the 6 months. They have broken this agreement, I do not see why I still have to honor it.

I even suggested that they just swamp the refrig out and they won't do that either. so, on top of all the food that spoiled because of them, I know still have a broken refrig that I am still paying on.

District Manager finally contacted me. He has taken care of the issues. I am satisfied with the outcome.

I also forgot to mention that the payments are automatically charged to my credit card. So, when the payment came due, it should just automatically be charge. I assumed that the payment had been processed since it was suppose to automatically. Then I get a call from several of my references, stating that Aaron's Rental had been trying to reach me and they couldn't. That is was urgent that they talked to me.

First of all Aaron's Rental never called, never tried to call me. I have caller ID, and it shows all missed calls, I also have voice mail etc.
Here to find out it was like the 10th of the month, my payment was late and they were charging me late charges. They agreed to take the late charges off, since it was there mistake. Since they forgot to process it. But, I am still upset that they decided to call my references, instead of calling me directly.
