Hello went to aarons couple of weeks ago looking for cell phones What a joke example  samsung s5 they wanted 79 dollars per month for 24 months do the math 1,836 dollars they must be crazy just look at there on line website you will see it But the Phone can be purchased for around 250 dollars at other places So they are charging 7 times the cost of the samsumg s5 WoW what a real rip off they should be investigated for price gouging So saying all of this please stay away from aarons!

Gotta agree with Robert on this.  I spent a good part of my career working with RTO companies.  Bottom line is this.  As a seller, Aarons is also giving you airtime and data use.  So, that is a part of your payment.  They are also covering all service due to defects.  Cell phones are notoriously unreliable.  Then there is the part that Robert referred to.  I can think of no reasons at all why a person able to get a phone through a credit purchase would go to Aarons.  Their prices are high because of the demographics that they deal with.  As a GM, it was not unusual to have a writeoff rate of around 7%.  They also spend a huge amount of hourly employee workload in collections, since most of their customers have already jacked up their credit by paying late or not paying at all.  Who do you think pays for all of that?  I'll clue you in sport, it's not the company.  It's the customers.  Try going going to a Buy here Pay here car lot and see how you're gonna get shafted.  Same deal.  If you are here complaining about cost of ownership at Aarons, you are naive at best.  Sorry to be so blunt.

Robert. First of all you do not know me. So for that reason do not say that i do not have  credit!! Also read my lips, you do not know what i was saying about aarons they are trying to ripoff people. So why are you saying that i have no credit? So i will say shut your mouth up about me. aarons is a total ripoff on all there  products!! So saying this i will never respond to your negative remarks about me and other people. So Please Shut your mouth. You mean nothing to me!! Goodbye!! Have a nice life!!

If you don't want to pay the $79/month then buy one for the $250.

This place like others are for people who are unable to get credit through regular means, because they have not proven they can actually handle credit.  This is either because you have a track record of stiffing creditors or have not ever had credit.  As such these people are higher risk, and as a higher risk they have higher fees and interest.
