Our yearly premium was due March 1st, we paid $2929.00 as we have for years paying the entire year. The first of April I received another bill for $2689.00.
When I called to find out what this was I was informed that my insurance had almost doubled in less than a months time! There have been no accidents, claims or new drivers since they sent my yearly statment to me!

I found another insurance and faxed my new insurance info to them cancelling as of 4/11/06. Today, 5/8/06 I received a ck for $1062.00! I called and was informed that I had been charged $1250.75 for 5 weeks insurance, and that had left a balance of $1668.25 out of which my remaining part was $1062.00 the rest was a cancellation fee of over $600.00!!!!!!

WOW!!! Melody- WHAT would you insure for $5618 per year?

Are you insuring an Abrams M1A1?

Now I can understand that an Abrams M1A1 can be a wee bit of a hazard. If you drive that 66-ton vehicle over someone else's car or SUV, the highway department will have just one heck of a time digging them up and out of the roadway. And if you accidentally fire that 125mm main gun, anybody you hit will simply disappear.

I pay mmmm- $1000/year for a car and a 4X4 pickup.

So what are you insuring?

this doesn't seem right..

contact your state insurnace commissioner's office and file a complaint.. about the price quote change ... and also about the amount they charged for 5 weeks.. sometimes after you've filed a complaint the issue gets resolved quickly..
