I signed up with Blast Fitness on May 18, 2013. When I spoke to the sales person he assured me that there wouldn't be any other additional fee's besides the monthly membership fee. I was so excited because I could finally afford a gym membership. I went home and told alot of people and several of my friends and family went in and joined the gym that day. When a close friend of mine decided to join the gym that night I went with him and there was a different sales person he explained that there was a yearly charge and that the first debit from you checking account was the 22.52 and then 15 days later there is a charge of 72.52 which I was never informed of. He also printed out a contract for my friend to look over and then electronicly sign. This was a surprise to me because I never saw this contract. When I complained to the sales person about the indiscrestion he told me to come the next day and speak to the manager. I came the next day and I spoke to the manger he said that he would take me out of the system and that I would have to fax in a form to ABC finacial within 30 days to complete my cancelation. I gave the manger my gym membership card. I contacted ABC finacial several times I faxed them the cancelation form and I also emailed it to them but they refused to cancel me. not to long after that I had my debit card stolen so I had to cancel it and get a new one. Shortly after that I recieved a phone call from abc finacial and blast stating that I needed to pay my membership fee or I would no longer have access to the gym. I called blast and told them that I canceled my membership. They confirmed it yet I still recieved phone calls. I was finally sent to a collection agency who is still hurassing me to day

They will trick you into signing a contract that you will never see BE CAREFUL THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT and they law will do nothing about it.
