****THEY RIPPED ME OFF****
I am more than willing to show transcripts, texts or photos as proof.
   I recently ordered a remote control for my awning.  It was priced at $108.00  Which I was willing to pay.  The remote was suggested to me by from what I believe to be the owner.  I was told it was all I would need.
   When I received it... It came in a new box.. it was unused... and even had that thin layer of protective plastic on it.  BRAND NEW!
   There were no instructions on how to program it so I emailed them and was sent an email with a PDF manual for all the remotes that the "SOMFY" brand makes.  After searching through for a while I noticed that my remote requires a special tool for programming that I was not told about.
  I took the remote out of the box for literally "less than a minute"  Pushed the button a couple of times and put it back.  

After all the waiting I had to do for the remote... I was a little annoyed that I had to order another part... so I decided to return it.. and fix my old remote instead.  
   I asked the owner via email if I could return it and she said yes... and gave me the office number.
   I spoke to a woman named Martina who told me that they would accept the return but I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee.




  I agreed.
Due to covid.. it took me a couple of weeks to make it to the post office.    So I decided to ship it UPS and pay the extra $12 to ship it next day.
   As I said... I mailed it back to them in perfect condition.  When they received it... Martina texted me telling me that they could not give me the refund.  I asked why.. and she sent me a photo of a smashed box.  I replied to her that it was never used and hardly touched and that despite what the mail system may have done to the box... I was promised a refund.  

Martina texted me back with multiple excuses and finally landed on the excuse that she could not process the return because it has "non-cleanable" fingerprints.  THIS WAS A LIE!!!
   After a lot of back and forth.. Martina refused to budge and I told her I would email the owner.
   The remote control was promptly shipped back to me... and guess what?  Somebody at their office.... (probably Martina)... had taken off that little layer of plastic that I made sure to leave on.
   It seems quite obvious that someone at the office made the decision to not take the return.... they crumpled up the box.. and pulled off the plastic.  The remote... mind you... has absolutely no fingerprints and is still in perfect shape.

So now I'm out $108  plus the $12 Shipping when I was promised a refund and sent them back an untouched product.
    I emailed the owner "Desiree"
She told me that she would look into it.  She never got back to me so I emailed a couple more times.  It seems that now the Owner is ghosting me.   AND ALL OVER A STUPID $100 REMOTE !!!!!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!  If they can't practice proper business over a untouched $100 remote... I would not trust them with a large expensive awning or window installation.

I will be looking into legal action over this... not because I desperately need the $100... but for the principle.  Nobody should be ripped off like this!
