I bought a book listed on Abebooks.com sourced from Owlbooks in Toledo, Idaho. It was described as in "Excellent condition". It was ripped, chardcover damaged and badly sun damaged. It was put in an unprotected plastic envelope/sachel and came ripped. When I complained, I was told to send it back to the seller who may then give me a refund. It will cost me two thirds the cost of the book to send it back and then I may no book and scammed twice. Simply do not deal with Abebooks or the sellers wh list on it's site. It may not be always the case, but my experience is that 50% o the time, it is a scammer who hides behind Abebooks.com...who will do nothing about the problem. So learn from my experience and only deal with reputable book sites who guarantee tha they will pay the refund if there is a problem. Sadly, Ebay and the like are just scammer sites these days!
