I have been dealing with a collection that I wasn't informed of until April 2016, stemming from a hospital visit in November 2012. 

At the time I was insured and the hospital had no issue handling the claim, however, this eventually came back in 2016 about a Physians group who didnt get the insurance info and sent this to collections 4 years after the fact.

I have called ARS only 4 times myself, and have attempted to remedy the situation, because of confusion when the hospital informed me that it was fully paid (my bill), I shredded my original itemized bill from the agency I recieved (which wasn't truly an original and had a zero balance). 

I taped my last conversation with this woman, because every call was met with rudeness, and eventual hangup on her end. I am merely attempting to get another itemized bill, and taped the conversation, in it she does say she doesn't have an original bill and hers even shows a zero balance.

More upsetting is she discusses my account without any verification of my personal information, I only gave my name, and after asking the question, she yells and hangs up, while still discussing the collection.
